Arturia Releases V Collection 7
Version 7 of Arturia’s classic synth suite gets a major update. It’s the suite of legendary synths that keeps on growing.
The suite offers 24 timeless instruments recreated as plugins, and modernized with contemporary features. New synths in version 7 include:
Mellotron V – A recreation of a 60s tape-based keyboard. The original instrument redefined what keyboard players could do. It opened the doors to orchestral and choral sounds at the touch of a key.
CZ V – A rendition of the Casio CZ-101. This model was Casio’s first ‘serious’ attempt at a professional instrument. This budget keyboard also became a legend as one of the first phase distortion synths.
Synthi V – Known as the British “silver machine.” This classic synth put a new spin on modular synthesis. However, it’s reported the Arturia version strikes a balance with three similar synths – EMS’s Synthi A, Synthi AKS, and VCS 3.
V Collection 7 also brings a new collection of 800 presets for legacy V Collection instruments called Synthopedia. In addition, Analog Lab got updated to version 4 and their Hammond B3 emulation to version 2.

Add classic analog character to your productions with emulations of these iconic hardware compressors:

Comp VCA-65 – A rendition of DBX’s classic 165A. It’s famous for its treatment of drums, bass, and percussive sounds.
